Our organic lovage leaf hydrolate for perfumery comes from the species Levisticum Officinale. The liquid is known as Lovage Leaf Organic Hydrolat. The aromatic profile starts from a fresh and green base, on which the herbal side stands as a complementary shade and remains in the background throughout the scent. The scent stays at a mild level. Steam distillation sets the purity of the aromatic picture, as the finished liquid contains only the volatile fraction of the leaves and an aqueous base without other additions. The mild tone of the scent results precisely from the limited volatile content in the aqueous phase. Phthalides such as ligustilide and butylphthalide carry the main aroma of the fresh leaves and explain the green thread in the overall aromatic character of the distillate. The leaf mass gives the distillate a light yellow-green tone. The color stays in the light yellow-green range, while the shade repeats the appearance of the fresh plant raw material before extraction. The distillate is a clear and light liquid. The Apiaceae family includes herbaceous species with hollow stems and with leaves whose sheaths clasp the stem at the base. Cultivation is carried out organically in Bulgaria. Storage

Store organic lovage leaf hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 to 12 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
